I had last week off work so I decided to head down to Staffordshire and visit my parents. I woke up on the Saturday morning craving fresh air, a long walk and a huge breakfast, so my mom and I put the dog in the car and took a trip to Kinver Edge. I decided to take my camera along with me and thought I'd share some of the pictures I took.
Kinver is a beautiful chocolate-box village, crammed full of independent shops, quaint tea rooms and historic buildings. It's also one to visit for gorgeous country walks, as it's home to acres of woodland which is owned and managed by the National Trust.
The only decent photos I got of Troy... he's very camera shy!
The most picturesque view. I feel very lucky to have grown up in such a beautiful area.
After our walk we headed to our favourite tea room for a delicious veggie fry up and a hefty pot of tea (it's tradition for us to always order an extra round of toast for Troy, too). It was the perfect way to start the weekend x
