Dudmaston Hall

Yesterday my mom and I spent the afternoon at Dudmaston Hall and I thought I'd share some of the pictures I took. Despite it only being a 20 minute drive I'd never visited before. We began our trip at the prettiest little tea room before taking a wander around the gardens and the house.

The 17th century property is home to orchards, a sizable lake, farmland and beautiful estate cottages. The mansion itself - which is still lived in - also boasts an extensive art collection.

The gardens are in impeccable condition and make for some beautiful pictures. Unfortunately photography is prohibited inside the house due to much of the artwork being under copyright.

My pictures really don't do Dudmaston justice, so if you're ever around the Shropshire area I'd definitely recommend you visit. National Trust sites are always food for the soul for me, especially when the weather is beautiful x
