I've just returned to University for my third and final year, and with countless deadlines being set and a final major project that needs tackling, I've been feeling slightly overwhelmed. However, I can't complain too much - my internet is back (praise the lord), I have a brand spanking new camera and my creative juices are flowing, which hopefully means I won't be taking another spontaneous hiatus from my little blog anytime soon. I've mentioned before that creating content for Under Blue Lights is one of my favourite things to do in my spare time, and always helps to lift my spirits when I'm feeling a bit distressed. I'm really looking forward to getting back into the swing of blogging - I've missed it!
For today's post, I thought I'd share a number of snaps I took in Disneyland when my boyfriend and I visited early last month. I was originally going to take my DSLR, but I was worried about it getting bashed about so I decided to settle with my trusty iPhone. We had the nicest time - I'd never been to Disneyland before so I was ridiculously excited. I even bought myself an autograph book and spent the majority of one afternoon stalking characters. I didn't manage to track down Ariel though which was a tad gutting.
As we were staying for four nights, we decided to travel into Paris for one of the days for a bit of shopping and sightseeing. We were really lucky with the weather - as you can see it was all blue skies and beautiful sun. We spent the majority of each day in the parks and then the evening resting our tired feet and chilling in our room. We stayed in one of the Disney hotels so we had the Disney channel on constantly - it was strange and quite funny remembering Miley Cyrus in her pre-twerking days ;) Overall we had a really lovely time and I was so sad to come home and return to reality! I definitely want to visit again in the near future.
Other than my trip, I haven't been up too anything too interesting - just settling back into student life and enjoying the changing of the season. Although I said in my last post that I was sad to see the end of summer, I've decided I'm actually really excited for A/W this year. I'm already starting to feel slightly festive - is that allowed?!
Hope you all have a lovely week x
