I'm a huge fan of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle fragrance, but due to its hefty price tag, it's usually one for my birthday/Christmas list. My current bottle is practically empty, therefore you can imagine my excitement when I discovered this exact dupe from Next. I first came across it when my housemate sprayed some before a night out, and when I asked if she was wearing Chanel, she presented her little bottle of Eau Nude. Needless to say I rushed out to purchase one myself the next time I was in town - I couldn't believe the resemblance!
After buying my bottle I did a bit of research online and found the notes in both fragrances to be very similar:
Top notes: Bergamot, grapefruit, orange Middle notes: Jasmine, rose, litchi Base notes: Vanilla, patchouli, musk, vetiver
Top notes: Raspberry, bergamot Middle notes: Rose, jasmine Base notes: Tonka bean, patchouli
When I compare both scents side by side, I find Coco Mademoiselle smells slightly muskier, but other than that I really can't tell much difference between the two. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Eau Nude also comes in Eau De Parfum rather than toilette, meaning that it lasts longer on the skin that most high-street fragrances. I picked up my 30ml bottle for £7.50 (a whopping £40 cheaper than 35ml of Coco) but it's available in a range of sizes. I think the packaging is super pretty too and looks lovely sat on my dressing table!
I'd recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Coco Mademoiselle yet would prefer to try something slightly easier on their bank balance. I'll definitely be repurchasing!
