St. Tropez Naturals Self Tan For Face

If you're a regular reader of my blog you'll be aware that I'm a complete fake tan addict - I very rarely leave the house without it, even in Winter. For my body I always rely on my St. Moriz Dark Mousse, but I usually stay clear of any face tan due to the fact it can cause me to break out. I hadn't heard anything about the St. Tropez Naturals Range until I spotted a few of the products in store, and was instantly drawn to the Radiance Gradual Self Tan for Face due to it being aimed specifically at sensitive skin. I decided to give it a go and have definitely been impressed with the results!

The product is a thick cream (no guide colour so be careful to blend it well!) which you massage into clean, dry skin whenever you feel you need a bit of a colour boost. I find I have the best results when I apply it before bed, but it also sits really well under my make-up too. It gives me the perfect, natural glow and matches my face with my neck without making me appear muddy or orange, and best of all, doesn't break me out! I've been using the product on and off for around two months now and have noticed no pesky zits or unruly blemishes. It takes a couple of uses to build up a noticeable colour, so there's no need to worry about waking up to a face 10x darker than the rest of your body. You can apply the cream as often as you like to build up your desired shade.

Fault wise, the cream has a bit of a funky scent which tends to linger (it reminds me slightly of play-doh, if you can remember what that smells like!) I also find it can dry my skin out a little, so I suggest using a more hydrating moisturiser on alternate nights. Other than that, this is a lovely little product which does it's job perfectly and I'll enjoy using it up. My boyfriend even borrows it!

St. Tropez Radiance Self Tan for Face is currently priced at £12.99 for 50ml. x

  1. I've never delved into the world of self tanner but this seems like a handy product to have if you do! Wouldn't want my face looking 10x lighter, haha! :)

  4. I too love St Tropez! I've got a bad habit of covering my face in their body lotion so I know what you mean about the breakouts - maybe I'll treat myself to this!

  5. I'm also a fake tan addict, I rarely leave the house without it either.
I love St. Moriz, I've been wanting to try the dark one for a while, I think I might have to go for it.
Really like the sound of this. I usually use St. Moriz on my face and it can be quite drying. Might have to give this a go! x
