The summer drawing to a close means it's time to begin saving my pennies for University/Freshers Week and investing in boring necessities such as half price cutlery and sauce pans (how glamorous). However, I'm sure you can all relate to the fact that when your money is needed elsewhere, your wishlist literally doubles in size. I've been lusting after the trousers ever since seeing them on the gorgeous Laura from Buy Now Blog Later - I always think printed trousers make a nice change from jeans and can be thrown on with a simple vest top for a quick and stylish get up. They look super comfy too!
I spotted the red tote whilst searching the Zara website for the famous tan basket shopper. I love the fact that the style of this bag is very classic without any fuss, yet the colour makes it a bit of a statement piece. The burgundy playsuit caught my eye while I was out shopping last week - I need to buy a few new outfits for my long weekend in Dublin at the beginning of September, so I might purchase this to pair with a white blazer and sky high heels.
Although I love leather jackets on other people, I've always steered clear of them myself as I never felt they suited me. However, this beauty from Warehouse has caught my eye several times this past month - it's a little more flattering and feminine than leather jackets I've tried on in the past, and I love the 'waterfall' design and large lapels. I had a little time to spare before work yesterday morning so finally decided to try it on, which was a huge mistake because I fell in love with it and it's £140. Maybe living off Tesco Value spaghetti hoops for the next month will help me save a few pennies for it (such class) ...
I've been really impressed with the RT brushes in my collection so far so I'm eager to try the Expert Face brush to apply my foundation after reading so many positive reviews. I borrowed the Double Wear Stay in Place Powder Makeup off a friend to touch up my t-zone on my lunch break last week and it prevented any shine for the rest of the day and gave my face a gorgeous glow. I'm a big fan of the original Double Wear foundation so the powder is a bit of a must have (though I'm sure, as usual, my bank balance will probably hate me for it).
What's on your wish list for Autumn?
